Rio Grande is at it again! Like it's namesake, the Dirty Harry Jr emulates the tonal characteristics of a P-90 pickup. With a bit less output, it is recommended for the neck position in a 3 pickup set with the Dirty Harry model in the Bridge position, and the Dirty Harry Jr. RWRP in the middle.

Our most "classic" humbucking to date, two of these babies replicates a typical 50's combo . Back in those days the same pickup would be found in both neck and bridge positions. However, we have learned alot since then and prefer the Buffalo in the neck with a Genuine Texas in the bridge. Braided 2-Conductor cable.

This is a hard pickup to get a good balance of power (output) and tone from. It seems that “Not enough amp” is a common complaint. So we concentrate on getting clear lows, without dampening the highs, for a pickup that lets “you” color the sound.
