The G-Max is the combination of our SWELL TONE CIRCUIT for Guitar with a Vacuum Tube for the ultimate in a compact and easy to use maximum-gain/distortion push-drive pedal.
Tight, aggressive real tube-driven tones that will punch through in any live or recording setting are the G-Max specialty.
The G-Max serves up thick lows in addition to it's clear top-end with more than enough level/output to push any amp over the edge.
As with all SWELL drive pedals the (2) Drive levels are footswitch selectable for both live and studio applications via either Amp and/or Record-outputs.
The G-Max delivers overdrive rich in complex overtones with just the right amount of natural compression and yet still remains fundamentally transparent.
All of this while remaining dead-quiet even with the output level control maxed out!

The customized SWELL TONE CIRCUIT with a Vacuum Tube delivers big round lows, string-tone flavored mids and a clear open top end that is footswitch selectable for both live and studio applications via either Amp and/or Record-outputs.
In addition the G-Pro doesn’t play favorites when it comes to pickups…single-coil, P-90 or humbucker, etc.–the PRO brings out the best in all of them.
As with all SWELL drives the G-Pro delivers overdrive with smooth natural compression, rich complex overtones and yet still remains fundamentally transparent.
And yes–all of this while remaining dead-quiet even with the output level control maxed out!
